Mehr als 300.000 Türken haben heute in Ankara gegen eine mögliche Präsidentschaftskandidatur des islamisch-konservativen Regierungschefs Recep Tayyip Erdogan demonstriert.

Wie die türkische Zeitung Hürriyet unter Kurtlar Vadisi yayından kaldırıldı berictet, wurde diese Serie in der Türkei aufgrund von Beschwerden der Zuschauer abgesetzt:

“Kurtlar Vadisi-Terör” adlı dizi nedeniyle Radyo ve Televizyon Üst Kurulu’na 1 Ocak - 13 Şubat 2007 tarihleri arasında toplam 16 bin 597 başvuru yapıldı. Bu başvuruların 13 bin 953’ünde dizinin yayınlanmaması, 2 bin 609’unda ise dizinin yayınlanması istendi.
